World Scout Jamboree, Japan 2015

29 August 2013

The World Scout Jamboree is the largest, regular event organised by the World Organization of Scout Movement (WOSM). It takes place every four years in a different country. The first World Scout Jamboree took place in England in 1920 and since then 22 such events have been held. The 23rd World Scout Jamboree will take place in Japan in the summer of 2015.
The Jamboree has an exciting programme of global development, peace, cultural understanding, adventure, friendship and fun. 30,000 Scouts (and Guides), aged 14-18yrs, from almost every country in the world will come together and camp in a purpose made town for 10 days.

Application pack for IST/JST is now available here.
